W...W...W...(3)

W...W...W...Wednesdays is a weekly meme MizB of Should Be Reading

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…
• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?
So, here's my answers:
• What are you currently reading? Marked (Eternal Guardians Book 1) by Elisabeth Naughton.
I guess I'm on a paranormal kick right now. And apparently on a Guardians kick too (notice what I just finished reading). A new spin on Greek mythology, specifically the Argonauts lore. It sounded quite interesting  and apparently I had tried to start it a few months ago (according to the furthest page read on Kindle). I guess I kind of got sidetracked, but now I am ready to give it my full attention.
• What did you recently finish reading? Darkness Dawns (Immortal Guardians Book1) by Dianne Duvall.
This is a debut book from Ms. Duvall. It was also a free Kindle read a few months back. This is another spin on the vampire mythos. In this book, humans who are turned into vampires become rabid and do not live forever. Guardians are humans with special gifts (teleporting, telekinesis, healing, mind reading or what have you) who are turned by vampires in immortals who live forever, unless they get killed. Of course, there's a love story between a human woman and an Immortal Guardian.
• What do you think you’ll read next? Seducing the Duchess by Ashley March.
I've read this book before and loved it. I can't seem to latch on to any historicals I've been picking up. I blame the fantabulous Jenn LeBlanc for this historical funk I've been in since reading The Rake and the Recluse. I expect to see a picture when I turn the page. Alas! It isn't so. I'm a sucker for second chances type of stories and well, Phillip and Charlotte's is. Charlotte wants a divorce, but Phillip wants her to teach him to be a good husband before he grants it to her and marries another woman. She reluctantly agrees and along the way, the Duke and his Duchess get a second chance at love.
