So, here's my answers:

• What are you currently reading?

All's Fair in Love & Seduction by Beverley Kendall. This is a novella in her Elusive Lords series. I have been waiting for it for a looong time, or so it seems. After cowboys, I think it's time to go back to tried and true: historicals. 

Ripe for Pleasure by Isobel Carr. Still chugging on through this book. It's taking me a while but I think I'm at a good point in the book where it'll hold my attention and make me keep reading it into the wee hours of the morning.

• What did you recently finish reading?

Cowboys Like Us by Vicki Lewis Thompson. I actually liked this book. I mean come on, what's there NOT to like about cowboys? You know, the tight jeans, the worn out boots, the snap button shirts (easy access), the 10 gallon hat, the work roughened hands... Shall I keep going? Oh and lots of steamy sex. Should've Been A Cowboy by Vicki Lewis Thompson. 2 Vicki Lewis Thompson books in a row? There must be something in the water. I guess I'm sort of going backwards in the series but it's all good. This is 2 books before Cowboys Like Us. Maybe I'm unconsciously getting ready for RomCon and the Wild West Roundup. Brushing up on cowboy lingo, western wear and hopefully the cowboys will all be as yummy as the men at the Last Chance Ranch.




• What do you think you’ll read next?

Dark Lover by J.R. Ward. Yes, I may finally make my foray into the world of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. I hear you gasping. Yes, I have been living under a rock apparently since I've never read any of these books or a few other author's until Jamie Lynn came along and opened my eyes. These days, I like a variety in my reading so after cowboys and lords, I'm ready for vamps. Bring them on!

Dark Awakening by Kendra Leigh Castle. This is my first book by this author and I am enjoying it.

• What did you recently finish reading? 

Black Ties and Lullabies by Jane Graves. This is my first book by this author and it is laugh out loud funny. 

Embraced by Blood by Laurie London. The second in her Sweetbloods series. An absolute fun read. Check out my review here. 

• What do you think you’ll read next?

Ripe for Pleasure by Isobel Carr. Yes, I had this book on last week's WWW Wednesday under what I'll be reading next. Turns out, I received some books in the mail for review so I had to start those. But this book is going to be a must read next for me.

Cowboys Like Us by Vicki Lewis Thompson. Uh, have you SEEN the cover? If all cowboys looked like that, I wouldn't have left Texas. (kidding) This is going to be the first book of Vicki Lewis Thompson's I'll  be reading. Actually, it'll be the first book in the Harlequin Blaze line. Ever.

So, here's my answers:

• What are you currently reading? Embraced by Blood by Laurie London. This is the second book of her Sweetbloods series. I really like her first book BONDED BY BLOOD and am enjoying this current book. This is Alfonso and Lily's book. 

• What did you recently finish reading? How to Seduce A Scoundrel by Vicky Dreiling. I love (x infinity) this book. Read my review here (includes an original limerick by yours truly. Edward Lear's got nothing on me!)

Seven Day Loan by Tiffany Reisz (18+) So much emotion and a sexually charged atmosphere captured my attention in this too short, yet thoroughly satisfying novella. Read my review here. (Material not suitable for those under 18 years of age. Also, not recommended for those uncomfortable with anything pertaining to erotica. Proceed at your own risk.)

• What do you think you’ll read next? Ripe for Pleasure by Isobel Carr. I was drawn by the cover. For those of you who don't know, I'm a cover wh*re. This series caters towards second sons aka the spare. Sounds very promising.
